Still Lifes are some of my very favorite things to photograph. The more odd and random an object, the better! I don't generally stage my compositions at all and prefer to capture things as they truly are, in their usual spot. I'm a fanatic for picking up REALLY strange and sometimes discarded things- at yard sales, thrift stores, and along the side of the road. People generally want to run screaming from my house OR love it, there's not much middle ground there.
