Full of energy,
Sniffing the air, excited
Waiting for release

This image is not what it seems at first glance.
Our area is overrun with wild boar and hunting is a tradition.
I personally cannot agree with hunting but the dogs are beautiful and in good health.

Free them!!!!! :) Those wild pigs can cause so much destruction. Hopefully, they will use the meat to help folks! :)

Seems like the hunt is more for necessity rather than sport in which case it is good to maintain a balance of nature...I wonder if they know the words to " Jailhouse Rock " :0)

We are over run with wild pigs, too populated to hunt more. Instead they set up traps. The meat is used to help feed the poor and homeless. This is a terrific photo of these brave dogs! Haiku is great too.
