The small town of Kamp-Bornhofen, overlooked by Burg Sterrenberg vom Rheinsteig – Castle Sterrenberg. Dating from the 13th century.
Sitting opposite is Castle Liebenstein, the 2 castles are known as the “Hostile Brothers” because of feuds between the two brothers
who owned the castles. Legend has it that the brothers cheated their blind sister out of her inheritance following the death of their father.
They became bitter enemies and built a wall to divide the two castles. It didn't take long for them to lose their inheritance, and when they
tried to reconcile, one accidentally killed the other by shooting an arrow over the wall.
