Assumption Cathedral, Yaroslavl

Yaroslavl is one of the towns in the Golden Ring, renowned for its 17th century churches.
This is the Assumption Cathedral, originally built in stone in the early 13th century.
It has been completely rebuilt in its current form in 2010. It's unusual in that the interior
is very stark – white walls everywhere, apart from a modest new iconostasis (see next image).
