Giant's Causeway

Ireland's only World Heritage Site, and perhaps the most well-known natural feature in Northern
Ireland. The subject of many legends, the most popular of which tells the story of the giant
Finn MacCool, who laid the causeway to walk to Scotland to fight the Scottish warrior Benandonner.
Finn fell asleep before he got to Scotland, and when he didn't arrive, the much larger Benandonner
crossed over to look for him. To protect Finn, his wife Oonagh disguised him as their baby son.
When Benandonner saw the size of the infant, he fled in fear back to Scotland, ripping up the
causeway in case he was followed by Finn.

On the seaward side of the far "island" is the "Wishing Chair". Myth has it that this rocky seat
was made for Finn when he was a boy, and that wishes made here will come true.
(Doesn't work, no-one gave me that D700!)
