19 Earth

Cranbourne

Earth is rock, Earth is stone, Earth is sand, Earth is the place we live on.
Earth is stable, constant, solid, strong and unrelenting and is trusted without thoughts as it is what is there and remains.

Detail of the red sand at the Australia Garden, here under an overview of this beautiful park

Great photo of the tenacity of this one small plant. Love the complementary colors and texture.

What a courageous little plant --- to have staked its claim right there in all that sand and rock. An impressive view of life!

The earth looks to be rich in iron! :)

That earth is certainly an incredible colour.
If I lived in New Zealand, Japan or Turkey, I would have to question the 2nd half of your statement Mieke. Stable, constant, trusted, are probably words not high on the list there when your home can slide from under you or an earthquake can swallow you up.

We must love and care for the earth. Yes.
