24 Building Australian Way

Melbourne, Australia

Builders at work at a new house behind us.
It is Friday afternoon and they were fooling around a lot, special the young men.
The blue is insulation foil, to keep the heat out and the warmth in.

Looks good so far. Roof on, great blue insulation and then the red brick really pop. Looks like there is more discussion going on than work. :)

They don't even look dirty! Must have been a very casual day. I would be mad if I was the boss!

Cool shot of these men at work. Not exactly dressed like construction workers. It must have been casual Friday.

After living in Texas, I thought only Mexicans knew how to build houses!

Our houses are pink with the heavy insulation we use for the cold winters. Nice capture!

Down under, do they start building the roof first? :)

- That was a joke! ... I think! :)

Interesting how houses are built these days, especially to see the roof in place
before the brickwork! Wonder if there are some backpackers in his crew?

Indeed different way to build a house ,compared to here! On friday afternoon no one would work anymore here, except if it would be "Schwarzarbeit", and this is quite common here! V.
