America's Next Top Model
Open Casting Call

My office is to the right of this building and parking lot.

You'd think that women waiting for a casting call might pose for a poor
"candid" photographer. There were several that turned their backs as
they saw me approach. Maybe it's because I really don't look like
someone that would work for the TV station. LOL!

There were a few male college students slowly walking by and checking
out the queue. If I go back out, I'll try to get some photos of them!

Great shot, she's actually better looking than most that end up on that show. I suspect she has nowhere enough attitude to be a model.

beaitufl light on her, and a powerful (if not entirely happy) expression

I believe it might be for lack for makeup, etc. But very nice catch here. Not only on the main subject but those in the background.

cheryl, this is wonderful. great comp... but what a capture of her emotion

Nice candid... especially as they dont want their photo taken! Not celebrities yet !

Ahhh.. that explains it. How did you get on, Cheryl!

Great capture. She has attitude. I wonder why models wouldn't want to pose at any opportunity.

i know what it is.... it's ambition. it's that hidden beam that comes out of people. it's wierd but sometimes you can see it. *like donnie darko right bree?*

I love the light here. There's something positive going on that I can't really pin down.

LOL Jeanne! You would qualify but I'm too short! ;-D

America's top model....HA!! THey CLEARLY haven't seen me and you Cheryl!! LOL!! BAH!!!

If looks could kill.... They're all probably extremely nervous. I really like how you cropped this, with her about to walk out of the picture.
Guest 11-Mar-2005 01:23
I suppose if I lived in front of the lens, I might get tired of it. LOL! I should be so lucky! Great capture of the moment.

Well here's one more candid photographer that could have made her famous;-)
Like the contrast in expressions here with the distant girl beaming.

Wonderful photograph; a casual moment amid the tension.

I went to a skate park one day with my 5060. All of the wannabee Sk8ers were flocking around the photogs with the big lens and expensive cameras, while they all ignored me. Apparently Skateboard magazine sends out staff from time to time to get fresh images for their magazine.

Little did these punks know I could have made them famous here on PBase... Hahaha!
