A day visiting Mespelbrunn Castel

Antoanela and I took her parents on a lovely day to Mespelbrunn. Castle Mespelbrunn was built in 1412 and lies in a discreet Spessart valley, between Frankfurt/Main and Wuerzburg. The castle is very well hidden and survived by escaping most of the damage done during the wars. It is well preserved and remains in its original state. The mooted castle of Mespelbrunn is one of the beauty spots, even if it is a bit crowded in summer. Around the castle are various opportunities for walks, which are far less crowded than the area around the castle. The castle itself is still inhabited but some parts can be visited (we didn't). There is quite a good restaurant near the car park.
