Bassoons would be fun to photograph, I think. They're so unusual. Great shot. The lighting is wonderful...really shows the reds in the wood.

Weirdly compelling. Looks like a Dali sculpture, melting forms transmorgifying in your nightmares. The vertical comp emphasises this very well.

I played one of these in high school, way back when. I wanted to learn to play it because I believed it to be one of the most beautiful of all musical instruments. I like how you've treated it here.

A futuristic power plant.Silver arteries pulsating with lifelight.Wonderful zing of wood orange to spike the comp.I especially like the waterdrop forms.V!

I'd guess, from the wood and double joints, that it's a bassoon... -- but, whatever it is, this is a beautiful photo! (And, because the bassoon is one of my favourite instruments, have a vote on me!!!)

Not quite sure which instrument it is, bassoon or maybe an oboe? But it is a lovely image, The thingamabobs on the right look like musical notes. THe light is perfect.
