Gorgeous. Composition is great, drawing me in. And the shadow is perfect.

Great lighting. I like the shadow and the detail in the low light is superb.

Both are very nice, but I prefer this.. The warm tones is beautiful

Very great composition with those lines, one for shadow, one for instrument, an other for window, i prefer the color one!
    Herb 22-Dec-2004 04:09
Well done, the color is much better

Beautiful image! I could just sit and stare, so many things to see, color, texture, detail! Amazing!

My oh my - this is so good. The light you have captured makes this almost appear like a very good illustration - perhaps a la Norman Rockwell detail (if you know what I mean). I like the transition from the light of the window through the frame, on to the brass instrument and finally the convoluted shadow cast on the wall.
This is a lot of words which really just say, this is great!

A great companion piece to yesterday's photo. I slightly prefer this version because I like the warm tones of the metal.
    Guest 22-Dec-2004 00:06

This is superb in every way.

The sounds & tones of both the photo & instrument are mellow...which is how it should be. Therefore my choice is this one.
    René Gysi21-Dec-2004 21:28
    Superb composition.
    Gilles Navet21-Dec-2004 21:11

Thanks Gayle, I hadn't thought of that.

I like the color one must. The wonderful patina this instrument has and the look of age is lost in the B&W.
