My Backyard
(05.04.05)

I love this time of year everything is so lush. In a few months the heat will squelch the growth, but now it's just beautiful. This is the view from my backyard. Carolyn and Nate are surveying a giant Tulip Poplar... the scale tells the story.

My alternate image is a Dawn Redwood found on the William and Mary campus. One of the beautiful aspects of the College's grounds is the different tree species planted around campus. (Click for Tour)

This somehow reminds me of a still from a movie. Don't tell me which one, as it probably doesn't really exist. I especially love the pinkiness of the trees on the far side. A very nice view indeed.
