Steady as a Rock

I had to show you this. This fellow is building a harpsicord. He has been working on it for about two years as everything is done entirely with hand tools. During my lunch I watched him drill holes. Like a human drill press, only his hand moved... precise.

Great shot - isn't it amazing how still the rest of his body is?

Great shot, capturing the detail and fluidity of motion. Hope we get to see it when it's done.

My second comment - but I thought about this image and I realized you must have planned to capture the blur of his drill. you did that beautifully and he was an excellent model (and an excellent craftsman, no doubt) because the rest of him is totally sharp and rock steady.

Great photo, love to watch people working with their hands. Wood working is my third favorite hobby after Photograghy and Scuba diving.

Wow...you captured this perfectly! So hard to believe he could hold so still when his hand are moving so fast. The picture is tack sharp and that really emphasizes the movement! Extraordinary!
