In the Wren
(02.07.05)

I walked in this room during lunch and enjoyed the play of shadows on the floor. This is a view from a room within the Wren Building on the Campus of the College of William and Mary. Students still attend classes here as they have since 1699, making it the oldest academic building still in use in the US (a youngster in European standards :). Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, John Tyler, and John Marshall studied in its rooms. Here's an alternate view.

I love the angles and the shadows in this area. This photo makes you want to tilt your head to see it go straight. Nice endproduct here.

These photographs have amazing light and a warm burnished feel to them - much like your sequence on the play (how did that go by the way?)

Wow, what a great perspective and such interesting history, they sure knew how to build to make things last back then.
