San Miniato stands on a hilside on the South side of the Arno overlooking Florence.
It is a gem of Tuscan Romanesque Romanesque architecture dating from the 11th centruy.
The interior shown here, has a beautiful mosaic in the half dome of the apse, seen in the next image on this page.
