TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

Fort Worth, TX

Well, this was a Mockingbird. My outside kitty, Sylvie, decided she wanted it for lunch. Found the feathers on my patio. But, the opportunity lent itself to a photo op for the challenge so I took advantage.

This is great! You found the perfect subject for the title even if it is a little grim. After all, it's not a happy book. V.

One of my favourite books and I was wondering how to illustrate it - you
have done it perfectly.

Even though you can't stop the Food Chain, at least you put it's results to good use. Great thinking, Cindi.

Sad to see the evidence when something like this happens. Glad you didn't waste the opportunity Cindi, the feathers fit perfectly for the title.

I should have photographed the feathers, etc., under my husband's desk yesterday - the cat had brought in a gift for him
Good find - poor bird...
