Environmental Angels of Death- Cycle of Life Part 6

In nature, every creature has a part to play in the balance of the ecosystem. These vultures and marabou storks are scavangers, and they love to feed on rotting carcasses left behind by the predators. They are essentially the janitors of nature and happily clean up the mess that is left behind.

A nice six image sequence, chronicling the ebb and flow of life and death on the plains of East Africa. The images are quite descriptive, but become expressive when grouped in this manner. One reinforces the other, and the sum of the whole is greater than any of its parts.
