Stingless beeflies mimic real bees as a mean of protection from animals afraid of bee stings. They visit flowers, are yellow and hairy and buzz. This one is a bit smaller than a honeybee and required 200mm with all three Kenko tubes and the 1.4x Tamron converter to capture.

wow... this is great. I love how you've managed to catch the detail in his "face" yet retaining the motion in the wings with just a hint of their irridescence.
