Wow... excellent. Go Kiwi!!! I have the same camera as you. Hmmm, obviously not the same lens lol. Maybe I'll have to spend more next time.

Was shot hand held using a 580ex in high speed fill flash mode which will naturaly darken a shadowed background, no backdrop was used...
.
Its a small bee on a small flower :o)

This photo was cropped approx 10% and reduced in size quite considerably...
.

I like the angle & the colours-soft, not overly saturated.

Gary....I really like this, but I would rotate the image 90degree counterclockwise. I think the composition would be perfect like that!
