Thanks guys, there is actually noise but that's an image straight from the camera with no noise reduction. I will admit to pushing the colors a bit to make them more saturated :-) Regarding the motion blur, that seems to happen everytime I shoot a guitarist with a speed of 1/30 sec and below... So far the only way I have been able to eliminate it is with a bit of fill in flash.
