Nice one, Rick! It strikes me as those wooden things inside a piano (keys?), but then I don't see any wires, so that can't be it. Whatever it is, I like the feeling of undulation it gives.

Real interesting picture and challenge there, Rick. Looking at the wear patterns, construction, and color, I think I'll guess a store front awning or perhaps roofing material.
