Dog
by Bruce Ward

In Cap One 5 Pro: set the WB on some of the gray clouds. Made 3 conversions: 1.00, 0.00, -.60 EC. Converted to 16 bit tiff.

In CS4: blended the 0.00 and -.60 EC images first using the action I have. Saved the results as tiff. Then blended the 1.00 EC and the saved tiff using the same action. On the top layer mask, painted on the grass to restore the highlights. On the background layer, did LCE with USM 10-250-0. Then boosted the exposure with a gentle curve. Flattened. Cropped to put dog toward the lower right corner. Put a new layer on. Put edge darkening on that, then put a mask on the layer, and painted away some of the edge darkening in the upper left corner.

Canon EOS 1D

This probably the way it was seen, I think it might need some contrast..
