Nightime is the best time to photograph in the Great Hall, and they are only open late on Final Friday when I'm usually tied up elsewhere.

Bruce, I'm thinking this doesn't really do justice to the glass, which is spectacular. How about taking a tighter shot with less DOF. The building doesn't really compliment it unless you want an in situ kind of shot to show where it's hanging but I would think of that as an ancillary shot to a detail of the glass?
