My Grandmother, whose nickname just happened to
be "Smiles", is the tall lady with the Feathers
in her hat. This was taken in Trinidad, Colorado
in 1910.

Beautiful image. It always strikes me as sad, that most photos we see of this era are of people frowning or expressionless. It's reassuring to see that they could laugh and smile!
