This tiny egg cup-like nest was made by Harriet and
Henry (well at least that is what i think they told me ;D).
I haven't seen much of Henry since the nest construction and the
Honeymoon.
The nest's construction is a miracle in and off itself. The intricate
woven bits and pieces are beautiful works of Hummer art :))
That nest is getting way too small for Harriet and
the two babies. They built it in a wind chime, just about a
foot and a half from my kitchen window. It has been such a
miracle and a deep rich pleasure to be fortunate enough to
witness this whole process.
All of my photos are shot hand held, usually standing in my
kitchen sink with one foot on the countertop. This one was
shot from a stepladder and the background is my house with the window
just stage right.
