Christ this is good!

In some places that constitutes a meal.
Very filling I hear.
: )

this one's surreal! a very nice find and capture, craig
Michael Todd Thorpe23-Aug-2006 20:27
A wonderful find, Craig... Life is just this fleeting, isn't it? One moment you're alive and well, the next you're a banana peel...
Greg Harp23-Aug-2006 04:46
Superb composition. GMV
Ray Rebortira23-Aug-2006 03:10
This carrier pigeon self destructs in five seconds after you eat the banana. The department will disavow any knowledge .... ;-))))))))
Guest 23-Aug-2006 02:42
I don't know who did it, but I do know *how* he did it. Let's start rounding-up suspicious-looking monkies.

Too much potasium...
Chuck Inglefield22-Aug-2006 18:06

Guest 22-Aug-2006 10:24
Kal said it all, well seen and captured Craig.and your style makes it perfect.
Guest 22-Aug-2006 00:23
This is very bleak and sad. Terrific capture though!!! V
Guest 21-Aug-2006 21:16
Outstanding Craig..bloody brilliant!:)

Death is like a bannana skin, one day you are happily moving along with your life and then....the next you slip out of it...not often you get moving and amusing in one image Craig...excellent. K

Death is always with us...
Rob Rosetti21-Aug-2006 14:00
Terrific! Don't know what to say.. Roberto

A superb thought provoking image, Craig.
Eckhart Derschmidt21-Aug-2006 11:02
Definitely has some surreal quality (although both dead pigeons and carelessly dropped banana skins are very much an urban reality). Great one!
Stu21-Aug-2006 08:46
Terrific capture.
Guest 21-Aug-2006 07:15
Wow. Not something you see every day that is for sure. I like the irony that someone was not put off enough sitting next to a dead pidgeon to stop them from finishing off that banana (I'm choosing the order of events here obviously). This almost looks Dali like with that banana skin sliding off the edge.
Guest 21-Aug-2006 06:30
pulp!
inti21-Aug-2006 02:08
Two lifeless discarded things....amazingly in the same spot and spotted with a great eye for the coincidence.
Regards Rob

Very profound!! GMV

OMG! I don't know how to react, to feel sad or to think funny. Is it real? Unbelievable.
Sue Robertson21-Aug-2006 01:08
What JD said. Although the explanation of jaac relieves the tension this image creates.
Guest 21-Aug-2006 00:53
The birds have also to die, and those living in the city will likely die in the city. Striking parallel between the banana skin and the pigeon.
laine8221-Aug-2006 00:22
Bird-Flu comes to mind !!
t t21-Aug-2006 00:18
bitter-sweet...
Faye White20-Aug-2006 23:47
this is too funny!
jaac20-Aug-2006 23:31
Doug you couldn't be more wrong, this is in the uk, what happens is
the pidgeon finds a banana skin discarded by someone, finds a nice
ledge to put it on, then lies down waiting for a cat to come by.
The cat sees the pidgeon, says to it's self "my lucky day" it goes
to pick up the pidgeon, slips on the banana skin, the pidgeon jumps
up, laughs and flies off......it's an old trick we see it all the time here :-D

Unreal, Craig!
I hope his Workman's Comp is paid up.
This is an obvious case of "slip and fall"
