Very cool - love the cross processed style to these shots. Fits rural Bakersfield perfectly.

what a disparate place. I love the processing you are doing on these images

THIS TOTALLY DEFINES BAKERSFIELD IN ITS MOST RAW FORM. LOVE THE FEEL OF THE PIC.

This is cool. A very strong image I associate closely with the Bakersfield that you're taking us on a journey through. Essential addition to the gallery and I particularly like the "signs of life" in this one.

wonderful tones you create in ur pics here, great mild colours used, another scene right out of the classic film days album

Looks like an oasis for grub in a dry place..Think this is a corker of an image.
Notice that dog has only three legs?..I think the owner will need to wash that car eh!..

The treatment you've been giving to these images is really great and makes them so unique...

You have developed a great color cast here, it transmits a feeling of a hot and dry summer day

A new bakersfield classical - in the tradition of the old american movies - very compelling again. V

Suburbia. This is one of my favorites. Love the processing. Suggestion: if time permits, I'd revisit this location early morning with no cars which would give it an entirely different feel. Still, this rocks. Vote.

Nice--excellent treatment. Looks like quite the establishment--interesting sign.

Like a photo you'd find in an old Howard Johnson's... has that old-time appeal.

Yeah, back to Bakersfield! Another excellent find and love the bright red contrast. Brought back some fond memories of my good old driving days in US :-)

Classic Americana - except for the cars this could have been shots any time since the 50's!
