I encountered the opening ceremony of the International Museum Day 2009 in Hong Kong when I was taking snapshots in Tsimshatsui last weekend. The event consists of interactive shows, plus plenty of photo opportunities as museum mascots, clowns and international cultural ambassadors from the performance team pose with visitors against the backdrop of the parade cars. http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/specials/imd2009/en/index.php
