On of the neatest race cars made is the Stohr WF-1 sports racer. The engine of choice appears to be the 1,000 cc Suzuki motorcycle engine. The car weighs between 800 and 900 pounds [365 kg - 209 kg] You can get the car with a fiberglass body for about $85,000 or for another $25,000 you can get a carbon fiber body that weighs 25 pounds [11.5 kg] less than the fiberglass body.
I am also including the West Racecar in this gallery. The People who formed West Racecars started out with Stohr and for what ever reason they broke off moved to Florida and started West Racecars. I will do my best to identify West's when I post a photo of one.
At Miller Motorsports park a NASCAR stock car will lap the 3 mile track at 90 mph, The Stohr will lap in excess of 100 mph. The only cars that are faster than a Stohr are the ALMS P1 class of race cars. These little racecars are fast and very trick.
I am starting this gallery to document some of these fast racecars that I have come across at Miller.
