24th January Life on the Edge

This little sapling is growing in the most inhospitable of places
but it looks like it's been here a few years, but for how many more?
Fair play to the little thing!
Lifes a struggle, but if your roots run deep it makes things a little easier.
Grow on little one!!

Canon PowerShot Pro 1
1/8s f/8.0 at 16.8mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

LOL @ Zak
All it needs is for one hungry red deer to come along and... CHOMP! ;-)

Hi James, unexpected touch of green in this mineral environment. Cute :-)
