It was a magnificent way to end my birthday. A friend and I had gone shooting at a nearby Wildlife Refuge and the clouds were gorgeous. We'd had storms much of the day. We kept looking for vantage points to use these clouds in scenics. Finally, we raced to a nearby park to shoot the clouds and what a show we got. This is facing east, not west. This turned out to be quite a thunderstorm which we hit as we got home. The images made my day for sure.
