If you've never been this close to the monument before, you'd be suprised to learn that what this commemorative plaque has to say
is actually 'kalokohan' (literally: a big joke), because it's all gibberish! Perhaps whoever was commissioned to do it didn't actually
expect people to come this close enough to read it, or was someone remiss in their duties by not actually drafting a summary of
the historical significance of this important - and in my opinion the best and most meaningful one I've seen locally - monument?
Unless, of course, it may actually be written in some secret Katipunan code or something ... :-p Quite a revelation, indeed!

Well, the monument IS situated in Kalokohan - er, Kalookan - City after all! :-D
