Until recently Taos Pueblo had rules forbidding any photography without express tribal consent. They have changed that policy. Now you pay a daily fee to be allowed to photograph.

No signage was posted limiting photography from outside the
low adobe walls nor were we given any instructions not to.

Wow. Did they change the policy there? When I visited we were specifically told not to photograph the cemetery...
