A few breeding pairs of this species has been introduced into the UK too! They are multiplying very effectively but not many large herds like this yet! LOL!

Great shot - very eery!

I love how the light has turned the blades such a bright white--like flower petals in the desert. Voted

Jude Marion 11-Oct-2006 14:37
Wonderful image
I like the graininess and the intensity of the colours.

(I was going to make a smartass comment about the seeds you'd need to grow these ... but I won't.)
Ann LT 11-Oct-2006 02:33
I love those things!

Amazing !
I don't think we have these yet - at least not in this proliferation in Canada. Wonderful image.

Very Sci-Fi!
Gary Winters 05-Oct-2006 07:12
I've seen these many times on my way to Brentwood from Oakland. Always think of War of the Worlds... lol

Have to wonder whether you pulled off the road or shot through the windshield. Vasco Road, right?
David Grundy 05-Oct-2006 06:37
I love the treatment! But it feels a bit weird - I can't get any strong sense of scale, and for some reason I get an impression that these are miniature machines.
