Tioga Pass is located on California State Route 120 and connects California’s Owens Valley with the Central Valley while crossing the rugged Sierra Nevada Mountain range through Yosemite National Park. These photos, from September 2009, were made using a 665nm infrared filter inside a Nikon d90. The 665nm cutoff allows some visible color along with the infrared, which yields brighter color options in post processing.
