My teenage son Tom, who along with his brother Paul and sisters Kathleen and Jennifer, lived with his mother in Saratoga CA, visited us in Darnestown MD in 1982. During the visit he helped Deni in the garden, notably helping her move a large azalea named 'Jubilant'. A year later Tom and Paul died in a car crash.

One of the plants we moved to Hendersonville NC in 1996 was that 'Jubilant', now nicknamed 'Tom's Tree'. The picture shows Jennifer and me about to place some of Deni's ashes at its base.
