Not my favorite shooting conditions. However, when you photograph Nature, you learn to shoot under whatever conditions Mother Nature gives you: even in the pouring rain.
I was very lucky last July. There was only one full day of rain when I was out shooting Alaskan Grizzly Bears. The rest of the trip was uncharacteristically sunny.
Unfortunately, rain and clouds are now in the Lake Clark and Katmai forecast for at least the next 10 days; maybe longer. So I'll probably be using my camera "rain coat" and manual focus a lot! That's okay; I know the routine. And the bears will be there: rain or shine.
Well, I'm now off to Alaska to go Bear Hunting again...
