Although Denali may lay under a blanket of snow from late September until early May (with harsh winter temperatures of -20 degrees), the wilderness comes alive in Summer with a massive display of wildflowers. Fireweed is one of the most common wild blooms to be found in the Park.
And where there are flowers, there are also native bees like this one.
