This is the first and only bear adventure that I've ever been on where I could comfortably sit on the sofa of the lodge and photograph wild bears from the window at almost any time of the day or night. For a change, I didn't have to hike all over creation to find bears to photograph. The Polar Bears came to me.

Yes, that was my camera gear on the sofa. I got really lazy this trip. Rather than set up a tripod most of the time, I merely used my bean bag to shoot out the window.
