Guard Goat

Along the Road

This goat and his goat house were "outside" the property owner's fence. The chain was attached to a post. There was nothing else around.
I still wonder "Family Pet or Guard Goat???" Fortunately, the photo does prove that this wasn't a mere hallucination from my lack of sleep.

Nice find. I find the goats chained to the fence a lot in Amish country here. I am not sure if it is a pet or a guard either. :) V
