Magic Hour on Red Rocks

There is something very special about witnessing a sunrise or sunset over the red rocks of the Desert Southwest. Colors change rapidly; intensity off the scale; the sounds of silence fill the warm air. It is a wonderful, and beautiful time to experience the creation of an image. These images were all taken within the past couple months, somewhere over the red rock country of the Southwest...and all (but one) taken with my new Tokina 12-24mm lens - a wonderful piece of glass!
