While photographing the last rays of the sun from Hopi Point, I noticed a small group of folks gathered over and below Powell Point. As they all peered toward the last remaining light on the canyon walls, they became an irrestistable focal point for this image. I quickly changed lenses and used my 70-200L at 200mm to compress the field of view as much as possible with this group. The ‘spectators’ in this image add a certain serenity that only the human presense can accomplish. Canon 10D, 70-200L, 1/350 sec at F/5.6
