Dark Impressions of Antelope Canyon, in 16 x 9

Antelope Canyon is abstract by nature; convoluted beyond imagination.
A long slot through fantastic sandstone weathered by the motion of water.
The rocks themselves appear to have a motion all of their own.

I've used the 16 x 9 format ratio in all of the images for this
interpretation of Lower Antelope, reflecting the long, sinuous nature
of the slot canyon. These photographs have also been processed a bit
on the dark side (with strong saturation), to bring out more of the
dark 'moodiness' of the canyon I felt that morning.

I was in Page, AZ, with my son shooting these last July.

I hope you enjoy my presentation of this wonderous place!
