Going Home

Mississippi River

I took Go Home by the river today and was lucky enough to catch the Natchez going down rivet to New Orleans. She was followed by the John J. Audubon a hydrofoil that runs between the Zoo and the Aquarium .I will post it later.

Impressive. It's about four times the size of riverboats around here.

Yeah! This brought tears to my eyes. If they're heading home, maybe things are looking up. It will be interesting to read what the plans are.

Ohhhh, lucky you getting this shot. Since the Corps of Engineers closed the Spillway I didn't come that route today. Hope it was playing the calliope for you.
