Still Discussing_5128 Roseate Spoonbills

Lake Martin, Louisiana

These two Roseate Spoonbills were still discussing who would have this spot for the nest. This discussion has been going on for over a week. The third one from last week’s picture is now just watching to see who will win.

Great photo, the color in those birds are great. Wonderful catch Breland. Will try to go Sunday morning before the boat races.

I have never seen anything like this. What a wonderful image. Before I read the comment, it looked as if you had caught a catastrophic mid-air collision. Thanks for sharing this, Breland!

Great picture. I look forward to seeing who wins and gets the nesting spot...

I wonder what is so special about this tree. And I wonder who will win. I guess if they've been fighting for a week, the outcome isn't imminent. Great capture and they are beautiful birds.

Aren't there enough trees for everyone? This is fantastic, Breland.

Wonderful shot, Breland. They'd better make up their minds, huh, or they'll miss the whole season.

They look like they are doing synchronized swimming, or a fancy tumbling routine. Great capture!
