Lake Martin

Lake Martin, Louisiana

We went to Lake Martin yesterday to make sure we could find it in the wee hours of the morning. There were hundreds of mating birds around. This scene of the cypress out in the lake with just a hint of sunset is the one I liked the most. Gayle has the birds posted and one of the biggest alligators that I have ever seen. Check them out. Beautiful with the trees growing out of the water and the reflections. Love the soft lighting too.

A very pretty Louisiana scene. Wonder why there are no birds there.

A great image Breland. The moss really adds to the leafless trees.
