A cargo freighter going up the Mississippi River at Sunset. The river is about 200' deep and a mile wide at New Orleans, most of the ships can travel as far up river as Baton Rouge. When I was in my teens you would have to wait for hours for a ship to pass so that we could ride the waves back to shore.
