The landed guy & the mirror lens Bokeh...

Taken from 250 feet away,hand free.Full manual setting on the D40X
This is definitely a bad image quality...
But anyway, it quite curious about the effect on the background caused by the mirror lens.

Great work. I had a mirror lens and could never get a sharp image from it, even using a tripod and bracketing the focus. All things considered this is a very good effort to get this image but I wonder if a 250mm IS telephoto and cropping would have done better.
