Could it be that the time paid for a place at the cemetary had expired? I mean, if they moved the stone. In some cemetaries you buy you spot for x years and then they move your stone and re-use the place for someone else.
This stone is no longer where it was, and I have no idea what happened to it. The weeds and vines are still there, but the resting place of Elizabeth Larsen no longer has a marker. Another unexplained screw up at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
