Antelope Canyons, called Slot Canyons in Northern Arizona

There are hundreds of slot canyons in the Southwest, but these are the most spectacular. Discovered by a little Navajo girl while tending her sheep about
85 years ago. They were formed by hundreds of years of flash floods, wind, and debris. The walls are up to120 feet high from the canyon floor underground.
These two canyons - Upper and Lower Antelope - are tributaries to Lake Powell starting in Utah and extending into Northern Arizona, a man-made lake formed
by Glen Canyon Dam and flowing into the Colorado River carving out the Grand Canyon.
